On a cold and blustery Charleston winter morning, five GOP
presidential hopefuls along with Fox broadcasting and former
Governor Mike Huckabee descended upon the City of
Charleston. Huckabee's town hall forum saw the top five
Republican candidates sit and field 12 questions from the local
crowd with a minute to respond to each question. South Carolina
governor Nikki Haley was in attendance. The five candidates
were Mitt Romney, Rick perry, Newt Gingrich, Rick Santorum,
and Jon Huntsman. A free event, the Sottile theatre was full to
the rim with voters trying to decide which candidate was the
best. Crowds began lining up before 9:00 a.m that morning as
seating was on a first come first serve basis and the historic
theatre only seats a few thousand. Many hopeful attendees did
not make it in and were forced to wait outside for a hopeful
glimpse of one of the candidates. Huckabees town hall forum will
air on Fox network Saturday january 14th 2012 at 8:00 p.m.

Charleston South Carolina is a pivotal city in the Republican
primary. Normally a very conservative city, there has been a
rise lately of younger more vocal voters demanding justice in
Washington D.C. and expecting more from their elected
officials. South Carolina could very well be in the middle of the
nations ground changing voter decisions as they hold court for
their Republican primary.
