Sabine Lisicki joins former Cup Champion and current World No. 1 Serena
Williams, Caroline Wozniacki, Victoria Azarenka, former No. 1 Jelena Jankovic,
former No. 1 Maria Sharapova, Vera Zvonareva, and Melanie Oudin in a stellar
player field in Charleston. Family Circle Tennis Center is a tennis center on
Daniel Island in Charleston, South Carolina. Built in 2001, the center has 17
courts, including the 10,200-seat Family Circle Magazine Stadium. It annually
hosts the WTA Tour's Family Circle Cup.The Hootie & the Blowfish album Live in
Charleston was recorded there on August 15, 2005.
The Daniels Island Tennis Center is a magnificent place to view a womens
tennis event. Some of the top tennis stars in the world regularly make the
tournament and this year is no exception. The star power that Serena Williams
and Maria Sharapove bring alone is enough to warrant attention and attract
visitors. Serena Williams may well be the greatest womens tennis player in
history and a chance to see her play should not be passed up

Taking I-26 East to Charleston:
Take the Mark Clark Expressway (I-526) East towards Mt. Pleasant. Turn off on Daniel Island Exit

Take the Mark Clark Expressway (I-526) West and turn off on the Daniel Island Exit (#24)
From Charleston:
Take I-26 West to the Mark Clark Expressway (I-526) East towards Mt. Pleasant. Turn off on the
Daniel Island exit (#24).
From I-95: Take I-26 to Charleston and follow directions above.
Parking:
VIP parking spaces are available at Family Circle Clubhouse and will be available with ticket
packages. General parking available on the island for $5.00.
Approximately 12 accessible spaces are located in the Clubhouse lot.
