Folly Beach
Folly Beach is located on the coast of
South Carolina. Folly beach is one of
the most visited beaches by tourists and
locals alike due to it;s long seashore.
Recently Folly beach built a fishing pier
that is 1,045 feet long and 25-feet wide.
The pier is located at the foot of Folly
beaches main road,Center Street. Right
next to the pier is the Seaside Holiday
Inn. The Holidayy Innoffers a oceanside
bar and on weekends daily and nightly
outdoor entertainment.
The Holiday Inn at Folly Beach is directly next to the Folly beach pier, and also right on top of front beach. You can
literally walk out the back door and down the steps onto the beach. It is the biggest hotel on Folly beach. If you are
planning a vaction there, that is the hotel to stay at. beach house rentals is another option that may visitora choose.
When you rent your own beach house, you are able to cook your own meals, relax in the many bedrooms,den and
even have a cookout on the deck,patio. Expect to pay a decent sum of money to rent a beach house, however lately
you can find some specials.
At the north end of Folly beach you can also see the Morris Island Lighthouse. The easiest way to get their is to drive
as far as you can on West Ashley ave until it stops.Park your vehicle and either walk on the path of the Old Coast
guard base or onto the beach.
Folly Beach has a decent lively nightlife, as Center street has undergone a transformation lately. many new
nightclubs,bars and restaurants have sprung up around the downtown area.

Half Rubber is a lowcountry traditional game that is played on the sands of Folly beach. The game is similiar
to baseball, however their is no running. It is a unique game that everyone should at least try or rather watch
some locals. Other than half rubber, you can bike on the beach,lay in the sun, fish off the pier, Fish in the
surf,go crabbing, go surfing, ride the waves on a long float or intertube, or just sit back in your beach chair
